    • Christ : A Faithful Picture Of Jesus From The Gospels

The best place to find out who Jesus is in the Bible, specifically in the Gospels. All four evangelists have different presentations of Jesus in their Gospels. Do they all present the same Jesus?

Father Alfred McBride, O.Praem., named one of the most influential religious educators of the 20th century by the Talbot School of Theology, explains that each Gospel has a unique emphasis. A truly faithful picture of Jesus must be gleaned from studying all four Gospels.

Did you know that Matthew focuses on the Kingdom of God, while Mark emphasizes Discipleship? Similarly, Luke focuses on the humanity of Jesus, while John emphasizes his glory.

      * Matthew, the tax collector, was a shrewd observer of human nature. His Gospel focuses on Jesus the Teacher. In the Sermon on the Mount, Christ teaches his disciples about the Kingdom of God. According to Jesus, membership in the Kingdom requires love, mercy, justice, and salvation. Matthew also describes how Christ founded Church life, beginning with his institution of Peter as the rock on which the Church would be built. Matthew gives his readers the spiritual heart of the Church through Jesus’ teachings so that we can enter the Kingdom of God.

      * Mark’s Gospel is the shortest, but in detail it is the richest. Mark was a talented storyteller who gives us the picture of a resolute Jesus, who is determined to let people know the Good News. Through his miracles, Christ displays his divine power and draws disciples to himself. Mark shows that a true relationship with Jesus is deeper than that between a student and a teacher. Our calling, as Christians, is to become disciples of Jesus, who is our master. As disciples, we must not only believe the master’s word, but we must form a profound bond of love with him. The best reason for rereading Mark’s Gospel is that he invites us to love and be loved by Jesus.

      * Luke’s Gospel reflects his friendly, humane, and trustworthy manner. His stories about Jesus carry that much-prized quality of personal warmth. Without diminishing Christ’s divinity, Luke shows us how to be intimate with the Son of God by helping us feel at home with the human Jesus. Luke’s Gospel is full of men and women who were close to Jesus. His account of the Passion is marked by the compassion of Veronica who used a towel to reveal Christ’s face. We all want to see Jesus’ face, and Luke does not disappoint us.

      * John, the apostle whom Jesus loved, enthusiastically gives us Jesus radiant with

    • Manifesto Of Our King

The Sermon on the Mount is the manifesto of our King and the platform of the Prince of Peace. And it’s the Law! It goes vastly beyond the Law of Moses. It is the Ten Commandments amplified and expanded. It raises the law to the nth degree.

As the Law of the Kingdom, it is the highest ethical teaching in the Bible. It will be the law of this world during the Millennium, and then it will find full fruition. Christ will reign on earth in person and will enforce every word of it. The Sermon on the Mount will finally prevail when He whose right it is to rule shall come.

    • Jesus : Divine Or DaVinci

Is Jesus the Divine Son of God as recorded in the new Testament? Or is Jesus a mortal man as identified in the popular book, THE DA VINCI CODE?

Attacks on the foundations of the Christian faith have stirred a firestorm of debate over the validity of the New Testament. What the fictional story in THE DA VINCI CODE sets out to accomplish is the elevation of a pagan worldview by distorting the true history of Christian faith. What’s at stake is that people will believe the deceptive claims of THE DA VINCI CODE are true.

This new DVD sets the record straight by clearly presenting the logical, historical and scientific evidence for believing in the person of Jesus Christ.

JESUS, DIVINE OR DA VINCI, addresses the integrity and historicity of the New Testament documents. This program will show you that the New Testament Gospels are based upon eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ ministry and miracles, and have the greatest level of accuracy of all ancient literature. It will also show that THE DA VINCI CODE claims are fictional and come from a pagan worldview that is hopeless and without redemption.

    • DaVinci Deception

Dan Brown’s bestselling book, The DaVinci Code is a real page-turner but constitutes an intentional and very malicious attack on the person of Jesus Christ and Christianity. It has caused much confusion among those inadequately informed about the origins of the Gospels and the history of the early church.

While it is admittedly a work of fiction, it presents, in advance, a series of statements which Brown declares are true and accurate that are not . Brown’s deliberate twisting and distortion of facts throughout the book are cleverly crafted to mislead the uninformed.

The many questions deriving from the outrageous heresies promoted by the book will be answered in this briefing. Chuck includes insights – and hidden codes – which appear to have been missed in the deluge of critiques the book has stimulated

This DVD includes notes in PDF format and MP3 files.
